Carol is gifted at making the complex simple, engaging people quickly, and understanding her client’s world.
To her coaching practice, Carol brings thirty years in the public, not for profit and private sectors as an employee, manager, CEO, senior executive and consultant, including twenty years in the health system. She now works as a management and governance consultant and executive coach with HR Atlantic, a human resource consulting firm in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Her wide experiences in and with organizations have given her a great perspective on how organizations work, the challenges of managing staff, the excitement and pain of implementing change and the satisfaction of making a difference.
Carol has a deep interest in helping boards work better – that board members time and wisdom is used well, that organizations are governed well and that boards and CEOs are accountable. She consults with board and CEOS to teach them the Policy Governance® model and coach them in using it. She is co-author of The OnTarget Board Member: 8 Indisputable Behaviors.
Carol is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. She is a Licensed Trainer in the 5-5-5 Coaching Skills Training Program ™ and the Personal Groundwork for Coaching program with Coaching Out of the Box®
She is a LEADS certified coach and facilitator and she is an accredited practitioner of Insights® Discovery.
Carol is Associate Faculty in the Advanced Coaching Practices program at Royal Roads University.
