Dave Veale interviews Chief Rob Simonds of the Saint John Fire Department as part of the Leadership Unleashed series of interviews with leaders.

Chief Rob Simonds of the Saint John Fire Departmenthas recently begun a Harvard University fellowship for senior executives in state and local governments.

 “I need to always be aware of opportunities to engage the people I work with.  Sometimes I think if my awareness isn’t where it needs to be, there are lost opportunites,” Simonds says.

This month, he began a Harvard University fellowship for senior executives in state and local governments.
