Dora is an excellent coaching resource for those working through complex leadership challenges and taking on new leadership roles. Dora has long been a leader who mentored and coached evolving leaders.
Dora is skilled in transition management, as well as leadership development and governance, with more than 35 years’ experience in a variety of leadership positions – including CEO – for various healthcare organizations across Canada.
Most recently, she was CEO of the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation and Interim CEO of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. Over the past four decades, Dora has developed a keen understanding of complex organizations – and the people behind them. Dora retired from healthcare in 2010 and began providing services in governance and strategic planning.
After earning her Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, she began offering coaching services to professionals seeking growth in their lives and careers.
Dora is a skilled communicator and teacher. Her professional designations include MSc in Health Services Planning and Administration, CHE (Certified Health Executive) and CEC (Certified Executive Coach).
Community involvement is also important to Dora. She has served on numerous boards and national committees, including Accreditation Canada, Enterprise Saint John, and the YMCA of Greater Saint John. She has also volunteered with the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO), the Business-Community Anti-Poverty Initiative (BCAPI) and Partners Assisting Local Schools (PALS).
