For Jeff Green, finding his passion and purpose as a leadership coach has spanned 30 years, seven career paths and three companies. 

​

He started his journey in the last place he thought he would – accounting. He began at McCain Foods, which gave him opportunities to grow. That included a role in continuous improvement, working with leaders to establish and action business improvement goals and helped supervisors learn to lead teams to solve problems. 

​

Then another opportunity appeared – the one he had truly been searching for and that matched his Human Resources degree from Saint Mary’s University. He was hired by Delta Hotels to work in HR.

 

He had found his calling!  

 

There he learned the business of HR from the ground up. More importantly, he learned about people and leadership. He learned how to make decisions without having all the details, to confidently approach awkward conversations, to help people solve problems, and to help them reach their full potential.

Then opportunity knocked again – this time with J.D. Irving, Limited.

For more than 17 years, he has worked in operations and corporate Centres of Excellence – leading teams, influencing change, and impacting lives.

 

In 2022, his passion for leadership and coaching came full circle when he completed the Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching through Royal Roads University and became a Certified Executive Coach.

Through all these experiences, Jeff has come to appreciate the impact leaders have on the people around them.

 

He believes every person deserves a great leader. Someone who inspires them to do great work. Who encourages them to try new things and not be afraid to fail. Who is always in their corner, no matter what. Who holds them capable and always tells them the truth, even when it hurts.

As a coach, Jeff’s goal is to be there for you. He offers a natural curiosity honed over years of listening to, supporting, and challenging leaders.
