Vision Coaching is thrilled to welcome Jeff Green, an accomplished human resource leader, to our coaching roster.
Jeff brings with him more than 30 years of diverse professional experience across seven career paths and three companies, culminating in his true calling as a leadership coach.
Jeff’s journey began in an unexpected place: accounting at McCain Foods. There, he discovered a passion for continuous improvement, working with leaders to set and achieve business goals.
His path soon shifted to human resources at Delta Hotels, aligning with his degree from Saint Mary’s University. This role was transformative, teaching him the intricacies of people management, decision-making under uncertainty, and the art of navigating challenging conversations.
For more than 18 years, Jeff made a significant impact at J.D. Irving, Limited, working in HR in both operations and corporate Centres of Expertise. His roles allowed him to lead teams, drive change, and influence leadership development on a broad scale.
Pivotal time
However, it was his personal experience with leadership coaching during a pivotal time that ignited a new passion.
The pandemic had descended, creating new uncertainties and challenges in the workplace, on top of new leadership. Jeff was paired with Bruce McLeod, then Vision Coaching’s manager of coaching services and a much-admired and respected leadership coach. (Bruce passed away in 2022.)
“My introduction to coaching was four hours spent with Bruce. It was so impactful because it helped me to navigate the change that we had going on in our leadership group. And it also just gave me the front row seat into the power of working with a coach. And I said to myself, ‘Yes, I want to be able to do that.’”
Jeff went on to earn his Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University in 2022, becoming a Certified Executive Coach.
Jeff believes every individual deserves a leader who inspires, encourages, and supports them through both successes and setbacks. His coaching approach is rooted in natural curiosity and a commitment to creating space for leaders to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and seize growth opportunities. He values authentic connections, often finding fulfillment in those transformative “aha” moments with his clients.
Values and passion
Now, as part of Vision Coaching, Jeff is excited to contribute to a community that mirrors his values and passion for leadership development.

Outside of coaching, Jeff is focused on creating a life centered around meaningful work, collaborating with individuals and organizations that resonate with his principles. His journey, marked by resilience, curiosity, and a dedication to leadership excellence, makes him a tremendous addition to the Vision Coaching team.
